Tendency to Rotate 2021

Tendency to Rotate 2021

Wildflower Tendency to Rotate 2021 will be available online and for take-away/collection from 12pm (Sydney time) on Friday 8 July 2022.

As the name suggests, this 2021 version of a skins macerated beer is evolved from the 2020 version. This year's blend is made of a single golden barrel aged ale aged on Montepulciano and Gamay wine grape skins from Ravensworth in Murrumbateman, NSW.

At opening it shows beautiful vinous aromas, aged red fruits, cranberry and plum… dusty oak and leathery cherry. A fine, intriguing, rustic earthy wine presence looms large and expectedly so. A vibrant and fresh palate. Sweet raspberry and red apple upfront before the savoury elements rush in. Skins and spice, oak and funk. The balance is striking, beer and wine elements moving in tandem and expression. Gentle and subtle but very delicious.

Less than 350 bottles this year.
