Squash is a barrel aged Australian Wild Ale made with homegrown Meyer lemon juice and zest as well as peel from the hybridised native Australian citrus, Sunrise Lime, a cross of finger lime and kumquat. Made in anticipation of Zwanze Day 2021 at Wildflower, but only released following.  

When we tasted it before release, it was refreshingly mild and subtle. Lemon barley, lemon verbena and grapefruit zest aromas. A juicy top note with lemon thyme spice notes. The palate carries the fruit subtly and harmoniously. Refreshingly tart with yellow and sweet orange citrus at its core. A hint of herb and clean zesty bitterness. Lasting and engaging closure. Really happy with this first foray into citrus with our beer.
