Village 2024 - Wildflower x Mountain Culture Collaboration

Well aren’t we all in for a bit of a treat. Here’s a beer brewed in friendship with NSW grown organic grains, aged Australian hops, water, the nighttime air and nothing else. Turbid mashed, extended boil and cooled overnight in a copper coolship hand made in 2020 by our friend Saul in the northern reaches of what we call Sydney.

It’s just a joy to make this beer and it’s a joy to share it with yall.

Village 2024 is our second 1-2-3 year blend of ales made in the image and likeness of a certain Brussels based beer tradition (gueuze) DJ and I both adore. The components in this blend date from winters in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

This years release displays a more prominent aged hop aroma than previous years while maintaining a noticeable, textural bitterness and length.

750ml and 1500ml bottles will be on sale from 10am 10 July on our website and at cellar door from when we open ($36/$80).

It’s really a privilege to be able to explore this method of fermentation and the flavours of these beers. Thank you to our wider community for making it possible. The ‘24 (because it was blended then!) is one to hold onto.

    Vibe (Batch #3)
