Serenity Batch #5

Serenity Batch #5

Wildflower Serenity Batch #5 will be available online and for take-away/collection at our cellar door from 12pm (AEST) on Friday 2 February 2024.

Inspired by one of our all time staff favourite beers, a certain Adelaide based sparkling ale, this is an arranged marriage of this certain wort with our house culture that has made for a match we love. Serenity is a sparkling mixed culture ale made with NSW grown regenerative organic barley, hopped with Pride of Ringwood hops from VIC and refermented and bottle conditioned with organic sugar.

Meesh's tasting notes

A red labelled beverage which is very close to my heart. In the glass, a pale amber with just the right amount of warmth and a big, fluffy white head - almost identical to the beer it draws its inspiration from. Plenty of Pride of Ringwood spicy fruit character on the nose, backed by sweet malt and a pleasant touch of funk. Taking a sip of this beer truly just made me smile. Rounded malt body, good fizz, an assertive bitterness to the back end. Nail on the head sorta stuff. Yum.

Like all our beers, Serenity Batch #5 is best enjoyed when decanted off a settled natural yeast sediment at cellar temperatures (10-12°C).

Enjoy.
