How's the Serenity #3 - Tasting Notes

How's the Serenity #3 - Tasting Notes

The third batch of our beloved How's the Serenity will be available online and for take-away/collection from 12pm (Sydney time) on Friday 3 June 2022.

Inspired by one of our all time staff favourite beers, a certain Adelaide based sparkling ale, this is an arranged marriage of this certain wort with our house culture that has made for a match we love.

A sparkling Australian Wild Ale made with organic malted schooner barley (AU), organic black patent malt (AU), organic raw sugar (AU) and Pride of Ringwood hops (AU).

This third batch has a robust nose, pronounced hop character, woody and resinous. Earthy spices and gentle citrus lead to a mild funky finish. Full palate, round with weight and texture, brown spices and herbal notes before the bitterness drives through cleansing the palate wonderfully.

The name of this beer, along with many of our other green bottle saison-inspired ales, come out of the book of Australian sayings. Quite obviously, it's a quote from the 1997 comedic masterpiece that is The Castle.

Please see the specific product page for bottle quantities and limits.

Enjoy.
