Group 2026 is an ale made with blueberries, twice. The ale was originally brewed with organic red wheat and organic heritage barley wholly fermented by a diversity of yeasts and bacteria collected from native flowers from NSW. It was then aged for some months in ex- wine French oak barrels and selected to wash the blueberries from making River Fossil Farm 2025. It was transferred off the blueberries in April 2025 and aged in barrel until December when it was refermented with 112kg Coffs Harbour grown blueberries.
It was bottled with raw, unheated Blue Mountains Polyflora wild honey from naturally formed, bee-friendly Warré hives from Tim and Emma Malfroy and allowed to naturally condition and carbonate before release.
